Ken Bacon, President & General Manager
Ken brings over ten years of experience in the meeting planning industry. In 2007, Ken founded Real-Time Events, with a mission to maximize customer satisfaction by employing leading individuals in the service industry as stakeholders in the success of its clients’ events. Under Ken's guidance, RTE continues to deliver on it's mission and continues to build stable and mutually productive relationships with it's core of strategic partners, including such industry leaders as WingateWeb.

Ken began his career as an exhibit sales manager in 1997 as part of Experient's (formerly Conferon) Corporate Trade Show Events team and then moved on to Miner Productions to head up their Exhibition Development, Sales and Management division prior to forming Real-Time Events, LLC.

Prominent clients include Teradata, Informatica, Indus (now Ventyx), Dunkin’ Donuts, IBM (Informix, Lotus and Rational Software), Sybase, Progress Software, Business Objects (now Oracle) and MAPICS (now Infor Solutions).

Ken's previous background includes work in the insurance industry as a systems analyst and trainer, as a stakeholder in a start-up company where he directed the company’s participation in numerous information technology events as an exhibitor and as the owner/operator of a real estate firm. Ken graduated from Northeastern University with a BA in English Literature. His interests include sports, especially baseball and the Boston Red Sox, the arts, travel, reading, music and creative writing. Second only to founding Real-Time Events, Ken considers his beloved Red Sox breaking of The Curse in 2004 to be a high point of his life.
